Carole Gauch joined the Research Center for Digital Sustainability in January 2018. She is involved in the development of the digitization strategy of the University of Bern and manages the numerous consulting and service projects of the Research Center. In addition to strategy and technology consulting, this includes the carrying out of studies, evaluations and data analysis in the context of contract research, the implementation of interactive data visualizations and the supervising of technology partnerships in research projects and in teaching.
From 2012 to 2017, Carole worked in empirical social research at the research institute gfs.bern, most recently as a project manager.
Carole holds a bachelor degree in Media and Communication Science from the University of Freiburg (CH) and a master degree in Political Science from the University of Bern – with semesters abroad in Helsinki (FI) and Chapel Hill (USA). In 2016, she maintained a CAS in Communication Management at the ZHAW.
