Eva Hirsiger has been working as a PhD student at the FDN since the beginning of 2018. The PhD is part of a NRP 73 research project in the area of sustainable public procurement. Based on the analysis of tender documents the Università della Svizzera italiana and the University of Bern develop effective sustainability indicators for public procurement tenders in Switzerland.
Besides the PhD Eva is working for PUSCH – Praktischer Umweltschutz in the area of sustainable public procurement und labels. She has been is in the local parliament of Zurich for the green party since 2014.
Her leisure time she mainly spends in the choir, in the acrobatics lesson, hiking, sailing or with friends.
