Benedikt Hitz-Gamper is in charge of consulting at the Research Center for Digital Sustainability at the Institute of Computer Science at University of Bern. His subjects include Open Data, Linked Data, Open Infrastructure and data visualization. His main consulting strategy centres around working with the clients to get through to the most important questions. In his experience, this is often more difficult than actually answering them together as a team.

Benedikt Hitz-Gamper did his PhD on the subject of «Infrastructures, Cooperation and Openness in Smart Cities» at the University of Bern. He was a high school teacher for physics and computer science, created risk analyses and safety cases for SBB AG, worked as students counsellor for VBG and did his original master studies in physics, mathematics and computer science at the University of Bern.
